We are Ana and Angie, welcome to APUSHI BABY.
Ana is a textile engineer with a specialization in art. She has more than 15 years of experience in companies in the textile and fashion sector and also in publishing, education and culture companies. She has worked in product innovation, trend and market studies and in the development of cultural projects from conception, communication, formulation of alliances and execution. Rather, she is an engineer with the soul of an artist or rather an artist who studied engineering, just to tell them that she even sings and, very nice!
Angélica has studies in business administration and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa in Spain that sparked her entrepreneurial spirit. She has more than 12 years of experience in strategy and innovation and has worked in different economic sectors in the definition and execution of business strategies, in the construction of powerful value proposals and in the definition of organizational structures and indicators that respond to the strategy and leverage its execution.
She is passionate about innovation and with Apushi she is already on her third venture. Ana and Angie have been friends for more than 10 years and they found each other thanks to textiles. In 2018 they came together to search for durable options for baby clothes after hearing the same phrase from many friends, "Baby clothes don't last at all, what a waste!" Together they investigated, studied and made many prototypes for about 2 years with more than 12 models, different babies, moms and dads to arrive at 3 bodies and 1 leggings that give rise to Apushi.
They are united by a love of innovation and the conviction that there is a better way to produce and consume and are full of ideas to transform the world of baby clothing into a more durable one.
